Shelly Hahn, CCC/SLP, is the Executive Director of Main Line Speech Consultants. Ms. Hahn holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and speech and hearing science from University of Pittsburgh, a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Ohio University, and a Masters in Business Administration with a specialty in Health Care Administration from Temple University. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist who has been in private practice for over 25 years, treating individuals from preschool through geriatrics with speech, language, voice and communication disorders. Ms. Hahn has extensive experience working with both children and adults and has worked in schools, acute care and specialty hospitals, day care centers, skilled nursing facilities, and home health care. She is certified by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). She has specialty training in accent reduction and has taught presentation skills and public speaking. Ms. Hahn is the author of Focus on Function andFocus on Transition, both of which specialize in speech/language rehabilitation after a brain injury or stroke. In addition, she has published articles on language development and aphasia.

Stephanie Rosenfarb, CCC/SLP, is a certified speech language pathologist and has been with Main Line Speech since 2003, evaluating and treating individuals from toddlers through geriatrics with speech, swallowing, language, cognitive and communication deficits. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist and has obtained the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. In addition to the office practice, Stephanie has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including preschools, elementary schools, rehabilitation facilities, home care and nursing homes. She received a bachelor of arts in hearing and speech sciences from University of Maryland, College Park and a Masters degree in Communicative Disorders from West Chester University. Her work experience prior to joining Main Line Speech Consultants includes Genesis Eldercare in Flourtown and Springhouse, Pennsylvania and Sterling Healthcare in Media, Pennsylvania. Her specialty is speech, language and swallowing with pediatric and adult populations.

Juanita (Mia) Hughes, CCC/SLP, is a certified and licensed speech pathologist and has been a member of the staff of Main Line Speech Consultants for over 20 years. She holds a Bachelor's of Science and Master of Arts degrees in Speech Pathology from West Chester University. She has worked in the field over 37 years with both children and adults. Mia has a special interest in working with adults with speech and swallowing problems secondary to neurological disorders.

Jayne Weinstock, MA CCC/SLP. Jayne has worked primarily in the area of geriatric rehabilitation and traumatic brain injury specializing in Dysphagia, cognitive and language therapy for the past 25 years. Jayne worked on the Brain Injury Team at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital from 1989 to 1994. Then Jayne began her career focusing on the adult population in nursing home and home care settings. Her areas of expertise are Dysphagia, Cognition and language Therapy from a neurological problem. Jayne also specializes in accent reduction/modification for the business professional who has learned English as a second language. Jayne received her Bachelor’s Degree for the University of Maryland and her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1988. Jayne holds national certification with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed by the Pennsylvania Board of Examiners of Speech Pathology. Jayne is certified in the Compton P-ESL program of Pronouncing English as a Second Language as well as the Psycholinguistic Aspects of Foreign Accent by nationally recognized Dr. Daniel Dato.

Lynn Feuer, CCC/SLP, is a certified speech language pathologist new to the Main line Speech team. She received both her Bachelor's of Arts and Masters of Arts degrees from Temple University. She has been practicing in the field of Speech Language Pathology working with adults for the past 40 years. Her last position was as a Speech Pathologist for Lankenau Hospital Medical Center and Main Line Health in Wynnewood for the past 18 years. Her case load consisted primarily of adults with neurological impairments including stroke, aphasia, dysarthria, dysphagia, Parkinson's Disease, concussions, and cognitive linguistic problems including memory. She also worked with voice disorders and stuttering. She is certified in LSVT LOUD program, has her Pennsylvania Speech license, and is an active member of the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association

Melissa Carey, M.S. CCC-SLP is an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certified speech language pathologist (SLP) who holds a Bachelor of Sciences and a Master of Sciences in Speech Language Pathology from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. She has experience working with children, adults and the geriatric population in a variety of settings including home health, skilled nursing facilities, public schools, and the Duquesne University Speech and Hearing Clinic. Melissa has a special interest in treating patients presenting with cognitive-linguistic deficits, speech/language/voice deficits and difficulty swallowing following stroke/TBI, as well as helping caregivers provide their loved ones with the support that they need in order to thrive. Some unique experiences Melissa has gained on her clinical journey include providing teletherapy sessions for special populations living in a rural area, accent reduction therapy, and treating social communication skills.

She is a licensed speech-language pathologist and has obtained the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Jayne has experience working in a variety of clinical settings, including an approved private school for children who have special needs, an outpatient autism center, rehabilitation centers, and in nursing homes. She received a bachelor of arts in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Temple University and a Masters degree in Communicative Disorders from West Chester University. Jayne has a special interest in working with adults who have voice and swallowing problems secondary to neurological disorders.

Carol Montagna is the Administrative Assistant Main Line Speech Consultants. She has been with Main Line Speech for over 20 years and is responsible for the day to day operations of Main Line Speech. She is the “go to” person for any questions regarding billing, insurance information and referrals. When not at the office, Carol is usually spending time with her 4 children and 7 grandchildren. |
